This course will provide theoretical knowledge and practical experiences concerning key
competencies required to develop and maintain one's own life, and to meaningfully
engage in relationships with others. Taking a lifespan perspective, key competencies
examined include decision-making, goal implementation, coping with emotional stress,
responding positively to other's needs, dealing constructively with conflicting views, and
maintaining lasting social relationships.
Prerequisites: PS275; One of PS280, PS371, or PS379; One of PS276 or PS377.
